RJM exists to build awareness of the societal and systemic structures that shape our spiritual, mental, and physical worlds. Familial, educational,healthcare, legal, penal and governmental, systems that influence communities. Our educational trainings and workshops initiate the creation of an equitable and restorative culture. The awareness that humanity is not defined by systems, but by the value we cultivate within.

History

The Restorative Approach is rooted in Indigenous methodologies that place healing, responsibility, and community accountability at the core of its worldview. These practices view justice not as punishment but as restoration and retention of the community's collective wealth. Every member is a part of the health of the world.

Community Education

Education is the catalyst toward self-empowerment and accountability as we reclaim our own voices. Through restorative practices, participants shift from institution to identity, reaction to reflection, ignorance to awareness — building new habits of self-respect and communal responsibility

Cultural Traditions

Our community's culture is the byproduct of systemic divisions, oppression, disenfranchised populations, and economic disparity. Yet within that truth lies the power to transform. When we are educated about our value systems, we are equipped with the courage to change existing systems of inequity - individually and as a collective.
