Education, Workshops & Trainings

RJM offers dynamic, healing-centered trainings grounded in Indigenous practices, restorative justice, and trauma-informed care. Our workshops challenge historical narratives, address personal and collective trauma, and explore the impact of systemic oppression. Facilitated in schools, conferences, organizations, and communities, RJM creates culturally responsive spaces for learning, accountability, and transformation. With a focus on active listening, community agreements, and emotional safety, our trainings equip participants to restore trust, build equity, and foster meaningful change.

The Restorative Justice Approach

The Restorative Approach recognizes that transforming mindsets requires care, intention, and strategic compassion. It invites individuals and communities to gently examine how self, society, and systems intersect—creating space to be seen not in opposition, but in relationship. Through restorative education and practice, participants are guided to move from reaction to reflection, from institutional conditioning to self-awareness, and from inherited narratives to intentional values. This delicate process honors the realities of systemic harm while nurturing accountability, dignity, and shared responsibility. By approaching transformation with respect for human experience and cultural context, The Restorative Approach cultivates new ways of seeing, relating, and acting—making restoration not a demand, but a conscious and collective choice.

The Movement

The Movement marks the beginning of momentum — a living force shaped by education, empowerment, and advocacy as the engine of communal change. Grounded in healing, responsibility, and accountability, it confronts historical inequities and collective trauma while transforming justice from punishment into purposeful action. Through shared learning, dialogue, and reflection, awareness is awakened, voices are reclaimed, and individuals move from understanding harm to actively reshaping relationships and systems. Cultural wisdom and relational practices guide this forward motion, repairing disconnection, rebuilding trust, restoring balance, and renewing commitment to equity as a humane right. In The Movement, justice is not static — it advances through people, community, and collective action in motion.

Circle Sessions

Circle Sessions: Healing Through Dialogue begins with the powerful act of sitting in a circle—a physical and subliminal practice that removes hierarchy and places every participant in equal relationship to one another. In the circle, there is no front, no back, and no position of dominance; safety and bravery coexist as shared commitments. This intentional formation invites trust, presence, and inclusion, creating a space where community is initiated rather than assumed. As participants explore systemic trauma and its impact on identity and lived experience, the circle becomes a container for truth—where voices are discovered, stories are witnessed, and understanding emerges collectively. Through this shared posture of equality and respect, the circle transforms dialogue into healing and awareness into connection.

Institutions To Identity: Surviving Systems

Institution to Identity was created to build awareness of the societal and systemic structures that shape our spiritual, mental, and physical world. It acknowledges how governmental, economic, familial, educational, healthcare, legal, and penal systems influence our sense of self. This program contributes to the creation of a restorative culture by helping individuals recognize that identity is not defined by institutions, but by the value we cultivate within ourselves and our communities.

Pain To Power

Pain to Power is a movement - both in location and in the mind. It was born from the recognition that pain, when acknowledged and expressed, becomes a force for transformation. This program continues the creation of a restorative culture by turning silence into speech, struggle into awareness, and individual experience into communal growth. It stands as living history in motion- where healing is not only personal but collective.
